Network of Kindness Progress Report 2022/2023
Together Liverpool are pleased to present our Network of Kindness Progress Report for 2022/23.
This provides a snapshot of our work during the second year of this National Lottery funded project to help build a kinder, more equal, just and generous society.
Please download to read about the growth of the Network of Kindness membership model, with Communities of Practice, workshops, resources and events offered to support faith and community groups to take their next step in social action.
Read how our Learning Communities, rooted in asset-based community mapping, will be rolled out across all areas of the Diocese of Liverpool in the next four years, helping launch or develop more than 125 new social action projects.
The report highlights some of our ongoing projects including distributing Feast of Fun grants, and supporting Places of Welcome.
It also features words from our members, including this case study, sharing about the work of Lifted Ministries in Wigan:
We're delighted to have now welcomed more than 80 Network of Kindness members.
These include 42 Network of Kindness Champions, 16 Projects, and 23 Hubs.
Among eight new Network of Kindness Hubs who have joined us in recent months are: Faiths4Change, Compassion Acts, Christ Church Norris Green, Gold House Hope For All, St Michael with St Thomas church in Widnes, Youth With a Mission, Liverpool Dementia Action Alliance, and In Another Place.
Among the Projects that have joined the Network of Kindness this year are: Toxteth Women’s Centre, The Message in Altcourse Prison, Family Fun and Food, Freedom Debt Advice at Frontline, and the Smile Collective at St Margaret's CofE school in Warrington.
We’re really excited about the potential for all in the
network to support each other in the development of social action across our
communities, rooted in our core values of Listening, Connecting, Equipping and Campaigning.
For this reason we encourage you to please invite others you know
who are involved in social action to also join
the Network of Kindness.
