“What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” – Micah 6v8
As we look towards a busy June in the social justice calendar, we’re reminded how faith calls us all to action – standing for justice, inclusion, and compassion in all areas of life.
June marks Pride month, World Environment Day, Volunteers’ Week, Learning Disability Week, Refugee Week, Refugee Sunday and Great Big Green Week. Each offers an opportunity to keep growing communities where everyone can belong, be heard, and be cared for – honouring both people and the planet.
We’re also looking forwards to reading applications for Feast of Fun grants from Network of Kindness faith groups, who continue to find creative and joyful ways to help tackle school holiday hunger. Please read on to find out more!
Thanks, from all at Together Liverpool
