Autumn 2024 Network of Kindness workshops series launched
We’re excited to invite you to our autumn 2024 Network of Kindness workshops, launching with a Meet the Funders session featuring the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Network of Kindness members will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into how to apply for grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund. This free on-line session runs from 12.30pm-1.15pm on Wednesday October 16. Read more and reserve your place: Meet the Funders Oct 16th.
Following this, on Friday, October 25, we’ll host an Introduction to Welcome Churches session. This workshop will explore how churches from any denomination can help welcome refugees into our communities. The session is free for all, including prospective Network of Kindness members, and will run from 12pm to 1pm. Read more and reserve your place: Introduction to Welcome Churches Oct 25th.
Next, on Thursday, November 7, we’re offering a session for everyone interested in learning about Becoming a Place of Welcome. This workshop will focus on how to help tackle loneliness and social isolation in our communities. We’re also excited to announce our upcoming Welcoming Prison Leavers training, delivered in partnership with The Welcome Directory and supported by Altcourse Prison Chaplaincy. This training will be held on Wednesday, November 27th and Saturday, November 30th—stay tuned for more details!

- Launching a social enterprise
- Understanding trauma-informed practice
- Engaging civic leaders
