Help shape a new digital Impact Reporting Tool for church, faith and community groups

Together Liverpool is inviting church, faith and community groups to register their interest in becoming some of the first users of a new digital Impact Reporting Tool launching this September.

If your organisation runs activities such as a food project, toddler group, warm space, community café or other social action initiative, this new tool has been designed to help you measure and demonstrate the difference you make.

Recognising the challenges many churches, charities and community organisations face in measuring and communicating the impact of their work, Together Liverpool has developed an easy-to-use digital Impact Reporting Tool specifically for faith-based social action.

Developed over the past year in partnership with churches and digital specialists, the tool guides users through a simple process to record activities, capture outcomes and generate clear reports.

It has been designed to help organisations better understand the difference they are making, improve their services, and communicate their impact more effectively to funders, partners and supporters.

Rev James Green, Executive Director of Together Liverpool, said:“Church, faith and community groups across our region make a significant difference in their communities every day through practical acts of kindness and support. From food projects and toddler groups to warm spaces, community cafés and many other initiatives, local organisations are responding to local need in remarkable ways.

But too often, the full impact of that work goes unseen because it can be difficult to capture and communicate. We developed this tool to make impact reporting simple, meaningful and useful – helping organisations understand the difference they’re making while giving them the evidence they need to tell their story with confidence.”

A pilot group of churches is currently in the final stages of testing the tool, with feedback helping to refine the experience ahead of the wider rollout.

Together Liverpool is now preparing for the first wave of users from September and is inviting expressions of interest from groups and organisations that would like to be among the first to use the platform when it launches in September.

The invitation is open to churches, faith groups, charities and community projects operating in the Diocese of Liverpool area or Liverpool City Region.

There will be an annual subscription fee to use the tool, although the final pricing structure is still being confirmed.
