County lines is fast becoming one of the most prevalent forms of modern slavery in the UK.

Drugs gangs make huge profits from exploiting the most vulnerable - usually children and young people - who are targeted, groomed, manipulated and coerced into drug trafficking and distribution.

Join us for this workshop resourcing churches and communities to understand and raise awareness of the scale of the problem and spot the signs of its presence.

The session runs from 7.30pm-9pm on Thursday June 29th at Christ Church Norris Green. It is delivered in partnership with the Clewer Initiative, with an emphasis on the protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We will share videos and other resources to gain an understanding of county lines, how it operates in our communities and what we can do to respond.

There will also be a faith element to the session, with some biblical reflections.

The session is delivered as part of the Modern Slavery Community of Practice series being offered by Together Liverpool as part of the National Lottery Funded Network of Kindness project.
