Together Liverpool’s founder and chair Ellen Loudon, Director of Social Justice for the Diocese of Liverpool, will be launching her new book on September 17th.
Ellen, who founded our Network of Kindness, will be sharing about her work and insights at St Michaels Church, Liverpool 17, on Friday Sept 11, at 7pm.
The book entitled Project Kindness: Conversations about doing justice in hostile times, is published on on Sept 4.
The launch will be a will be a ‘pay as you can’ event raising funds for Micah Liverpool. The evening will also include bands, music, storytelling, and comedy.

About the Author
Ellen Loudon is Director of Social Justice for the Diocese of Liverpool.
Ellen was an actor and University Senior lecturer in Drama before being ordained in 2008. For 10 years she worked as a parish priest in the North End of Liverpool, notably at St Luke’s Walton – the church next to her beloved Everton Football Club.
Since 2017 Ellen has been leading the social justice work in the Diocese of Liverpool where she has witnessed the power of kindness in action in parishes, communities, and charities – including chairing the boards at both Together Liverpool and Micah Liverpool.
This grassroots social action, and the people who lead it, have been the inspiration for Project Kindness. Her previous book 12 Rules for Christian Activists: A Toolkit for Massive Change was published in 2020.
