Our Story

Together Liverpool was launched in 2013 as a joint venture between the Diocese of Liverpool and the Church Urban Fund. Both organisations remain our Directors, and we are part of a UK-wide network of 15 Together Network charities striving to tackle poverty and transform communities.

During the pandemic, we pivoted to focus on urgent projects tackling food and financial insecurity, supported by funders like the National Lottery Covid-19 Fund, Liverpool City Region Cares, and the Raft Foundation.

Our Network of Kindness initiative, launched in April 2021, is funded by the National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund. Other funders who have generously supported our activities include the Diocese of Liverpool, Feeding Britain, The Albert Gubay Foundation, Joseph Rank Trust, Meals & More, and Liverpool Diocesan Council for Social Aid (LDCSA).
