Join our new four-part online training series designed to equip faith and community groups with the practical skills they need to strengthen their social action, this autumn,
Rooted & Resourced: Skills for social action will bring together people from across the Network of Kindness to explore listening to local needs, sharing stories, measuring impact, and funding community work.
Each session is practical, interactive, and tailored to the realities of churches, small charities and grassroots faith and community groups.
Run by Together Liverpool staff for Network of Kindness members, the sessions are an opportunity to connect and learn together.
Why join the full series?
Taken together, these sessions provide a complete toolkit to support your group’s work:

Session 1: Community Listening – how to understand the needs of your local community. (Wed 24th September, 12–1pm)

Session 2: Storytelling – practical communications tips for faith and community groups. (Wed 22nd October, 12–1pm)

Session 3: Impact – simple ways to measure and understand the difference you are making. (Wed 12th November, 12–1pm)

Session 4: Funding your community work – practical tips to find resources and sustain your project. (Wed 3rd December, 12–1pm)
We encourage you to take part in the full series. Together, the sessions build on each other to give you a stronger foundation for your social action.

Who is it for?
These free sessions are for Network of Kindness members – churches, small charities, faith and community groups across the geographical area covered by the Diocese of Liverpool. No prior experience is needed.

Format
All sessions run online via Zoom, and last 45–60 minutes.
