Pride in Place Faith Communities Briefing

Posted on

Faith communities across the Liverpool City Region and Wigan are invited to a special briefing about the government-funded Pride in Place Programme (PiPP).

Together Liverpool, through its connection with Near Neighbours, is hosting and facilitating a workshop and discussion for faith leaders and communities.

We will be joined by members of the local Pride in Place team to share insights and answer your questions about the programme. We’ll meet at 1pm on Thursday 26th of March, at St Helens Parish Church, WA10 1AF.

The Pride in Place Programme will provide selected communities with approximately £2 million per year for ten years to fund locally led projects that improve neighbourhoods and strengthen communities.

Local residents and community representatives will form community boards to decide how the funding is spent, ensuring it reflects the needs and priorities of the local area.
