Merseyside Community Chaplaincy breakfast
Join us for a community breakfast to hear about supporting prison leavers re-entering the community.
Faith groups, community organisations and individuals are warmly invited to a community breakfast hosted by New Vision Merseyside Community Chaplaincy.
This is a new multi-faith organisation supporting prison leavers as they transition back into the community, set up with support from Together Liverpool.
Book here to reserve your spot for the event, which takes place on Saturday 12 July, from 9:30am to 11am at Hope Community Church Aintree, Aintree Lane, Old Roan, L10 2JJ, and will begin with a cooked breakfast.
It will be facilitated by Brian Greenhalgh, Lead Chaplain at HMP Altcourse, and follows the launch of Merseyside Community Chaplaincy in May. You can read more about the launch here.
This is a chance to:
- Hear more about how New Vision supports people on release from prison
- Discover how you or your organisation can get involved or volunteer
- Connect with others who are working to build safer, more compassionate communities
The event is held in partnership with New Vision - Merseyside Community Chaplaincy, Together Liverpool and Hope Community Church Aintree.
Joseph Cottrell, Social Action Development Lead for Together Liverpool said: “We’re really pleased to be partnering with New Vision Chaplaincy and Hope Community Church for this event. Supporting people as they leave prison is vital work – it strengthens communities, reduces reoffending, and offers people hope and a fresh start. We hope this breakfast gathering will inspire faith groups and individuals to get involved and learn more about how they can make a difference.”
All are welcome – come along, enjoy breakfast, and be part of the conversation!
