“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” – 1 Corinthians 12:27

At Together Liverpool we know that when people come together, sharing stories, skills, and experiences, amazing things happen. This month we’re inviting you to get involved in three simple ways.

First, we’re marking 40 years since the landmark Faith in the City report, by helping shape a new Vision for the City manifesto in partnership with Churches Together in the Merseyside Region.

It’s all about how faith communities can keep standing for justice and walking alongside our neighbours. We’d love your voice to be part of it. Please take a few minutes to fill out a short survey.

Second, come and join us at our autumn workshops. Next week’s session is the first in our Rooted & Resourced on-line lunchtime series, equipping church & faith groups for social action: 24 Sept – Community Listening – Book here

And at the end of the month we begin our Towards the Common Good evenings with Jenny Sinclair, sharing nourishing vegetarian meals and conversation, at St Cleopas Church in Liverpool: 30 Sept – Reading the Signs: Where Are We, Really? – Find out more and book your place

Read more about our other workshops below, including a Meet the Funders session on 23 Oct – these are great opportunities for Network of Kindness members to learn, reflect, and build confidence. We’d love to see you.

Third, we’ve just launched a Stories of Kindness section on our new-look website. This is where you can keep up to date with inspiring stories from across our region, and we’d love to hear yours. If you’re a Network of Kindness member with to share, please get in touch.

Finally, a big thank you to everyone who hosted Feast of Fun activities this summer – we funded more than 4,000 meals to help tackle school holiday hunger. You can read below about the difference this made.

Thanks, Rev James Green
