Join us for a morning of learning about welcoming refugees and people seeking asylum in Liverpool.
Liverpool Connect, jointly organised by Together Liverpool and Welcome Churches, will take place on Saturday 7 March at All Saints Church, Liverpool (L15 5SH).
The event will celebrate the joy, growth and renewal that happens when churches offer a genuine welcome, and will share practical ideas to help groups strengthen their support.
The morning will include a range of activities, stories and discussion designed to inspire, encourage and equip. It is open to people both with lived experience of seeking refuge and those without, creating space to learn from one another and build relationships.
Who is it for?
Liverpool Connect is for churches that are already welcoming refugees and people seeking asylum, as well as those who are interested in starting or developing this work.
It is open to churches both within and beyond the Welcome Churches network and Network of Kindness, and to local organisations supporting refugees and people seeking asylum across the Diocese of Liverpool area.
Whether you are just beginning to explore how your church can respond, or you are already running projects and want to grow your impact, this event offers practical insight, shared learning and opportunities to connect.
Please share this invitation with others in your church or organisation who may be interested.
