Together Liverpool is supporting local organisations to apply for Near Neighbours Small Grants of between £1,000 and £6,000.
These small, locally led grants are designed to help people from different backgrounds come together and strengthen their communities. Projects should build trust, relationships, and collaboration between people of different faiths, ethnicities, and backgrounds.
The application deadline is 11.59pm on 13 November 2025, and applicants will be notified in December. All funded projects must be completed by 1 May 2026.
This year’s priority areas are:
- Young people aged 16–25 – especially projects that bring together young people from diverse backgrounds and build hope for their futures.
- Grassroots social transformation – encouraging partnerships between organisations of different faiths, ethnicities, or backgrounds to work on shared themes such as wellbeing, education, or employment.
All applicants must speak to a local Near Neighbours Coordinator before applying. If you operate within the Diocese of Liverpool area (Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, Halton or St Helens) please contact:
- Joseph Cottrell: joseph.cottrell@togetherliverpool.org.uk
- James Green: james.green@togetherliverpool.org.uk
If you’re a Network of Kindness member working with young people aged 18–25, or any local organisation helping neighbours connect, we’d love to talk about how this funding could support your work.
Near Neighbours is a national programme run by the Church Urban Fund (CUF), which helps people of different faiths and backgrounds to build relationships and work together for the good of their communities.
