Together Liverpool are offering free interactive workshops for community groups and teams, who want to explore what the Manifesto of Hope could look like in their context.
It follows two online Manifesto for Hope sessions we hosted in March, bringing together people from across the Liverpool City Region.
The online sessions brought together a rich mix of voices, with 40 people attending including faith leaders, community and third sector organisations, volunteers, higher education representatives, and colleagues from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.
Together, we explored the nine priorities set out in A Manifesto for Hope in our City Region, developed through Faith in our City – an initiative of Churches Together in the Merseyside Region in partnership with Together Liverpool.
Through conversation and shared reflection, three priorities stood out most strongly:
- No one feels alone
- A vision of hope
- Constructive partnership
Grounded in lived experience, our Manifesto for Hope discussions and workshops centre on justice, faith, community and shared values. So far our conversations have highlighted a real appetite to take this work further locally.
If you’d like to host a Manifesto for Hope workshop in your community space or with your team, we’d love to hear from you.
You can also download and share the Manifesto, and make a pledge to support its priorities in your own context.
