Network of Kindness Newsletter – July 2025

“But when the kindness and love of God our Saviour appeared, he saved us…”  – Titus 3:4–5

Kindness changes lives. Whether it’s shown to a next-door neighbour, a family member, a stranger, or to yourself, every act of kindness is a reflection of the love and value God places on each of us.

That’s why we’ve launched our Stories of Kindness project – to shine a light on the inspiring ways our Network of Kindness members are putting that love into action in their communities. We’re kicking off the series with two powerful stories from Hope Community Fridge: one showing how the project tackles food insecurity and brings people together, and another moving testimony of personal transformation.

Also in this newsletter, we’re sharing our first summer social justice reading list, featuring suggestions from our team and colleagues in the Diocese of Liverpool’s social justice networks. You’ll also find useful resources and plenty of dates for your diary.

Looking ahead to September, we’re preparing a new season of autumn workshops to help faith and community groups turn compassion into action. Whether you’re looking to start a new social project, support children with ADHD, explore faith over food with fellow Network of Kindness members, or navigate the world of funding, there’ll be something for you. More details to come in our August newsletter!
