The Winter Boost project was set up to supplement the vitamin and mineral intake of the most vulnerable households in Liverpool, in an acute food crisis during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Co-ordinated by our partners Feeding Liverpool, the Winter Boost project boosted 13,800 food bank parcels distributed by North Liverpool foodbank, South Liverpool foodbank and Micah Liverpool, with extra fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs and tinned fish. The project ran from November 2020 - April 2021.

The project was funded by Together Liverpool, Liverpool City Council, Feeding Britain and Food Power - Generation Covid.

As part of our Network of Kindness initiative, Together Liverpool produced a video and testimonials to share the story and impact of the project.
