Network of Kindness stories

Our communities and churches are busier than ever before, establishing new ways to help and support local communities during an unprecedented time of crisis.

Together Liverpool seeks to tell and amplify these stories of kindness with the hope that they will encourage others to engage, support and connect further with their communities.

Telling our stories

The Diocese of Liverpool has seen the continuation of existing projects and the development of new and innovative community initiatives, all of which are bringing people together and helping communities to support one another through acts of kindness.

As part of the Network of Kindness initiative, Together Liverpool has been connecting with churches throughout the Diocese of Liverpool since the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown. We have particularly been following the journeys of churches as they work to support and empower communities through the provision of emergency aid and food support.

You can read some of the stories from new and existing projects throughout the Diocese of Liverpool below.

If you have a Network of Kindness story to share with us from your community initiative, we would love to hear from you.
